I have produced documentaries, written articles, presented programmes, trained volunteers, done newsreading, and made tea with a number of publications and radio stations in the mid-west of Ireland.
This blog survived without a purpose for a long time, but is now primarily centred on various happenings around Limerick, primarily music/arts based. Nothing too fancy, and don't expect razor-sharp analysis...For the most part, it'll be info. It will occasionally deviate from that.
So, Mark "Franco" Keane and myself have completed our hitching odyssey, and the fruits of this labour will be squeezed into fifty-two minutes of radio, for SPIN South West.
The journey was great fun, bringing us on the following route: Borris-In-Ossory - Toomevara - Nenagh - Limerick - Sixmilebridge - Quin - Ennis - Lissycassey - Kilimer Ferry - Tarbert - Listowel - Tralee - Dingle.
The exact date for broadcast hasn't yet been set, but will update when we know.
On a side note, this documentary also features some music snippets from the likes of: Sufjan Stevens, Midlake, Looper, Mum, LCD Soundsystem, American Analog Set, Efterklang, The Notwist, and er, Roger Waters.
